Hur de olika Zeldaspelen hänger ihop har länge varit ett hett debattämne bland alla Zelda-nördar. Vissa hävdar bestämt att alla spel hänger ihop på något sätt, medan andra verkar tro att alla spel är separata historier som inte har någonting med varandra att göra. För en tid sedan berättade Eiji Aonuma att det finns en bestämd tidslinje men att den var hemlig och att bara några få personer på Nintendo kände till den.
"Yes, there is a master timeline, but it is a confidential document! The only people who have access to that document are myself, Mr. Miyamoto, and the director of the [current] title [at the time]. We can't share it with anyone else!"
Men nu verkar det ändå som att de kanske kommer att avslöja hur spelen hänger ihop. I innehållsförteckningen på den officiella boken Hyrule Historia som vi skrev om för några dagar sedan, står det så här:
