HTC Hero blev årets mobil

Det har delats ut priser på Mobile World Congress

Igår delades GSMA (GSM Association) ut Globla Mobile Awards på Mobile World Congress-mässan i Barcelona och det blev HTC Hero som blev utsedd till årets bästa mobil.

Heron vann över Samsung Star, Nokia N97 mini, BlackBerry Bold 9700 och Samsung Omnia HD som var de andra nominerade i klassen.

Det delades ut priser till höger och vänster i en vansinnigt massa kategorier (22 stycken!). Värt att nämna är att Carl-Henric Svanberg, Ericssons avgående VD, vann "GSMA Chairman's Award" och Apples VD Steve Jobs blev utsedd till "Mobile Industry Personality of the Year as Voted for by the Media".

Mobile Innovation Grand Prix
The global final of the GSMA-s Mobile Innovation Grand Prix competition, part of the Global Mobile Awards, took place today at the Mobile World Congress. The Mobile Innovation Grand Prix competition showcases promising entrepreneurs from small and medium-sized companies bringing innovative new products, services and applications to market. Over the past year, four regional tournaments have taken place around the world and two finalists from each tournament competed today for the Mobile Innovation Grand Prix title.
