Klart att även den åttonde generationen av Volkswagen Golf ska få sig lite stylingprylar och nu presenterar Oettinger vad de kan göra med din bil. Man har valt att göra grejerna hyfsat diskreta men att det ändå ska synas att utseendet har förändrats en aning. Det finns en ny front, nya sidokjolar, ny bakstöt med diffusor och en vinge på bakluckan. 18-tumsfälgarna på bilderna är dock från Volkswagens tillvalslista.

Delarna ska kunna beställas via Volkswagen-återförsäljare från och med nu i sommar. Några priser har vi dock inte fått än.

With the Golf 8, Volkswagen transfers their icon into the digital age. Its straightforward character has been retained, but it's DNA is geared to the future. The renowned Volkswagen tuner, OETTINGER, has now created a comprehensive aerodynamic programme for the eighth generation of the best seller from Wolfsburg. In addition to a front and roof spoiler, the programme includes side skirts and a three-piece rear diffuser. All aerodynamic parts are available from the summer as exclusive Volkswagen accessory products and can be ordered from your Volkswagen Partner.

With more than 35 million units over 45 years, it is the most sold car in Europe – The Golf. In purely mathematical terms, every 40 seconds a person decides to buy a new Golf. It has given its name to an entire class of vehicles and has been a prime example of versatility, functionality, reliability and quality for generations. The expectations for the eighth generation of the Wolfsburg bestseller are accordingly high. These expectations not only apply to the vehicle, but also for the Volkswagen accessory programme, for which OETTINGER now exclusively supplies with aerodynamic products for the eighth generation of the Golf.

The oldest tuner of the Volkswagen brand, based in Friedrichsdorf, Hesse, tested the components for the latest addition to the Golf family under extreme conditions in the wind tunnel. In the first pictures, OETTINGER gives an introduction to the pleasing upgrade programme for the compact model. A decently lowered white base model Golf 8 is fitted with the new front spoiler intended to reduce lift, while the side skirts accentuate the flanks of the vehicle and visually create more depth. All the mounted parts, including the diffuser lip, are painted in gloss black. Sporty chic and practical use: OETTINGER has designed the lip at the bottom of the diffuser in three parts. The middle section can be removed, in just a few easy steps, to allow access to an existing trailer coupling. The Pretoria 7.5”x18” alloy wheels with a black finish mounted on the Golf 8 are from the Volkswagen Accessories range.

All the aerodynamic components are made of high-quality RIM in OEM quality. The roof spoiler is supplied in the colour gloss black 041, all other components are delivered primed and can be painted in the respective vehicle or contrast colour. All the parts mentioned can be ordered from Volkswagen partners from the summer.
