Netflix leder i Oscars-nomineringar tack vare Mank

David Finchers film norpar 10 nomineringar

Oscars-nomineringarna för 2020 har nu presenterats och det verkar som att det har varit ett rätt bra filmår för Netflix, vilket inte är helt oväntat då de varit rätt ensamma om att regelbundet pushat ut filmer under året. Mer specifikt är det Netflix-filmen Mank som verkar bli storvinnare med nomineringar i 10 olika kategorier, bland annat Best picture, Best director och Best actor.

Andra filmer som fått många nomineringar är Nomadland, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Minari, The Father och Sound of Metal som allihopa fått sex nomineringar var. Andra trevligheter som borde göra oss i Norden lite stolta är att Molly Sandén nominerats för att ha skrivit “Husavik” till Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga samt att danska filmen En runda till med Mads Mikkelsen fått två nomineringar.
