Apple och HTC sluter fred
Träffar en patent-uppgörelse som gäller i 10 år
Apple och HTC lägger nu ner stridsyxan angående diverse patent gällande deras mobila tekniker och har nu slutit en uppgörelse som ska gälla i tio år.Det var 2010 som Apple stämde HTC då man ansåg att HTC inkräktade på 20 av deras patent som används i Apples mobila operativsystem iOS. Under åren som gått sedan dess så har Apple lagt till ytterligare patent till sin ursprungstämning men i och med dagens tillkännagivande av det tio-åriga licensavtalet mellan de båda företagen kommer Apple att lägga ner alla stämningar mot HTC.Exakt vad licensavtalet innebär känner bara Apple och HTC till men HTC:s VD säger Peter Chou säger: "HTC is pleased to have resolved its dispute with Apple, so HTC can focus on innovation instead of litigation"Apples VD Tim Cook kommenterar dagens tillkännagivande med: "We are glad to have reached a settlement with HTC.
