Den amerikanska banken Morgan Stanleys analytiker uppger att de tror att Tesla framöver kommer att utveckla en egen mobiltelefon, något som har dragit igång spekulationer om detta.

Analysen om att Tesla kanske ger sig in i mobilbranschen skickades ut dagen efter att Teslas VD Elon Musk dissade Apples samarbete med OpenAI. Morgan Stanleys analytiker baserar sin analys på att bilar är en "förlängning" av mobilen och att gränsen mellan dessa börjar suddas ut. Vidare skriver de att Musk, genom sitt AI-företag xAI, redan har tillgång till stora språkmodeller och chatbottar, något som förväntas spela en stor roll i framtidens mobiltelefoner.
