För bara någon dag sedan gissade vi på något Aliens-relaterat på E3 och nu har Gearbox bekräftat att deras Aliens: Colonial Marines kommer visas där, så förmodligen var det detta spel som Sega avsåg. Med bekräftelsen kommer också ett releasefönster: våren 2012. Spelet kommer som tidigare nämnts till PC, PS3 och Xbox 360. Ur pressreleasen hittar vi följande beskrivning av spelet:

Aliens: Colonial Marines will bring new levels of bone-chilling suspense and adrenaline-filled action to the renowned franchise. The game pits players against the universe?s ultimate alien killing machines, the Xenomorphs, in claustrophobic environments guaranteed to produce blood curdling thrills that the movie is renowned for.

Aliens: Colonial Marines begins with an ostensibly abandoned ship, the U.S.S. Sulaco, recovered in orbit around LV-426.
