Hideo Kojima prisas på The Game Awards igen

Förra året prisades ikoniska spelutvecklaren Hideo Kojima på The Game Awards när Metal Gear Solid V vann i kategorin Bästa action och äventyr. På grund av en dispyt med Konami fick han dock inte själv åka dit och ta emot priset. Det gillade inte producenten för Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, som efter galan sa att hans högsta prioritet inför nästa gala var att se till att Hideo Kojima skulle hedras ordentligt framför sina fans. 1 december är det så dags för årets upplaga av galan och Geoff Keighley håller sitt ord. Hideo kommer att få ta emot utmärkelsen Industry Icon och den här gången får han lov att vara på plats för att ta emot priset. The Game Awards har också presenterat alla nominerade i de olika kategorierna och nominerade för Game of the year är Doom, Inside, Overwatch, Titanfall 2 och Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
