En svenskproducerad dokumentärfilm om esport söker finansiering via indiegogo.com (en Kickstarter-liknande tjänst). Kampanjen söker 50 000 dollar och har redan nu plockat på sig 503 dollar med 26 dagar kvar.

We will examine what eSports is and how seriously we should take it. Through mainly interviews of players, financers, organizers and individual enthusiasts who are working towards promoting eSports, we will give a picture of what eSport is today and where it is headed. This to be complimented with footage from big events and key locations to put the contents of the interviews in a visual context. We hope to show eSports from the views of these people and how it’s possible to place it in the broader spectrum of mainstream sports.

We will not focus on any specific game, since the subcommunities and tournament set-ups differ. We want to show what eSports IS and to do that, we will look at everything from the scene around big games such as, but not exclusively, Counterstrike: GO, Starcraft 2, League of Legends, to "smaller" ones like Quake or Shootmania. This is not about games, it's about what makes eSport, as a whole, work.
