I februari 2016 presenterade Bugatti uppföljaren till modellen Veyron - Chiron. Nu har man byggt det 100:e exemplaret. En bil som kostar 2,85 miljoner euro innan skatt och som nu är på väg till sin köpare i Mellanöstern. Företagets hyfsat färska vd Stephan Winkelmann säger följande:"I find the 100th Chiron especially pleasing. It is dynamic and elegant in equal measure. This car shows that Bugatti produces highly individualized masterpieces of automobile craftsmanship that are simply unparalleled."Bilen har mörkblå kolfiberkaross med matt finish vilket är något man inte har gjort tidigare. Till det kommer röda detaljer som fortsätter på insidan där det är blodrött italienskt läder.Totalt kommer Bugatti bygga 500 stycken exemplar av Chiron.

Bugatti makes the 100th Chiron
100th vehicle goes to a customer in the Middle East
Bugatti President Stephan Winkelmann: “The Chiron is a highly individualized masterpiece of automobile craftsmanship.”
Bugatti is celebrating the production and delivery of the 100th Chiron1. This week, the car left “L‘Atelier“ at Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim, Alsace, where the 1,500 PS super sports car has been hand-crafted since the end of 2016. The 100th Chiron goes to a customer from the Arabian Peninsula, who has opted for an especially attractive configuration. The outer skin of the car consists entirely of dark blue carbon, supplied with a matt finish for the first time. The paintwork of the iconic Bugatti side line in Italian red and the wheels in mink black creates a pronounced contrast. In the full-leather interior, red is the dominant colour. The price of this extraordinary connoisseur’s car is about €2.85 million net.
Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., congratulated the owner: “I find the 100th Chiron especially pleasing. It is dynamic and elegant in equal measure. At the same time, Winkelmann expressed his pride in the Bugatti team which produces these extraordinary super sports cars with passion and professionalism day for day.
With extremely well-filled order books, production of the Chiron is running at full speed. About 70 cars leave the Bugatti factory every year. Only 500 Chiron vehicles in total will be produced.
