8BitDo releases less expensive version of Ultimate Controller

8BitDo has unveiled a new version of its Xbox-like controller, the Ultimate Controller, which is compatible with Windows, Android, Steam Deck, and Raspberry Pi.

Unlike last year's wireless version of the Ultimate Controller, the "Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller" does not have a separate docking station, and there is no control for switching profiles on the controller. There is also no support for the software that allows you to modify the functionality of the controller's controls.

The Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller will cost $30 and will be available in green and purple. This can be compared to the 2.4Ghz version released last year, which costs $50, and the Bluetooth version, which costs $70. The new version of the Ultimate Controller will be released on May 31st.
