In the UK, road cameras that detect vehicles littering while driving will now be tested.

Using artificial intelligence, these cameras will be able to detect if someone throws something out of a vehicle. If this is the case, images of the vehicle will be sent to a control room where a person will determine if the owner of the vehicle should be fined for littering, with fines currently up to £100, equivalent to $126.
The AI-based litter cameras will initially be used on roads in southern England, according to The Telegraph.
