Arrival winds down and shifts focus
Now focusing solely on electric delivery vans in the US
In 2018 the British startup Arrival burst onto the scene with their electric van. Since then they have also unveiled an electric car and announced partnerships with both UPS and Uber. However, financial difficulties have caused setbacks, and now we learn that they are choosing to end their operations in the UK and focus solely on the US. They will also concentrate on just one model, the electric van, which they plan to build at a factory in Charlotte, North Carolina by the end of next year. Arrival still has a contract with UPS to deliver 10,000 vehicles.
