More durable and more eco-friendly

At Electrify Expo Bridgestone has now showcased its new tire Turanza EV. It is specifically designed for electric cars and initially adapted for Tesla Model 3, Model S, Model X, Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E. Next year an additional 13 sizes will be launched so that more electric cars can benefit from these tires. But what makes this an electric car tire? Well, they have incorporated the new Enliten technology into the tire and in combination with a new tread compound it optimizes wear and provides a tire that performs well year-round. However all tire manufacturers use this kind of advertising so it's a bit difficult to pinpoint exactly what makes this tire so great. It is said to have less rolling resistance and be a bit quieter than other tires which is always good. Additionally the tire contains 50 percent recyclable and recycled materials.
