Crazy spare part prices for Hongqi e-HS9

Front brake pads costs 19,300 SEK!

New cars are expensive to buy and even more expensive if you need spare parts. However, one model stands out a little extra and that is the new electric SUV Hongqi e-HS9. Vi Bilägare has checked out some spare part prices for this car and they are truly outrageous. How about front brake pads for SEK 19,300, front brake discs for SEK 7,410 and a rear light for SEK 19,820? If you also need to replace a headlight, you have to cough up SEK 65,570 - for one! If you need a headlight for an Audi Q8 e-tron it costs SEK 27,000, which feels cheap in comparison.

Other news on the Hongqi front is that a version of the E-HS9 with longer range is now launched in Sweden. It's simply called Long Range and under the shell of this car is a battery pack of 120 kWh. It's the largest in a passenger car on the Swedish market right now. But don't expect a monster range, on a single charge the car is expected to travel 515 kilometers according to WLTP. The motor power is 515 horsepower and the car rolls on new 22-inch wheels. The price starts at SEK 1,349,000. The entry-level version starts at SEK 899,900 and then you get a battery pack of 84 kWh and a range of 396 kilometers.
