Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren reveals in an interview with Aftonbladet that he is currently filming a TV series set in the so-called "Witcher universe". It is not yet known which series it is or which character Lundgren is playing. However, it could be a spinoff series based on Rats, a group of thieves that appear in the third season of The Witcher. There is also speculation that Lundgren may play the role of Leo Bonhart, a bounty hunter who is after the Rats. If that is the case, it is possible that Lundgren may also appear in the main series of The Witcher, as Bonhart's path also crosses with Ciri, a character who appears in both The Witcher books and Netflix TV series.

The third season of The Witcher premieres on Netflix on June 29. There is currently no information on when the potential spinoff that Lundgren is involved in may appear.
