The NFT market may not be as hot as it was a year ago, but that doesn't seem to stop game company EA from exploring the possibilities of selling digital crypto creations.

In a press release, EA announced that their brand EA Sports has partnered with Nike's .SWOOSH initiative to bring NFTs into future EA Sports games. Players of these games will have the opportunity to purchase NFTs through Nike's NFT marketplace, which may rise or fall in value depending on their popularity.

There is currently no information on which games or types of NFTs will be offered from Nike in EA Sports games, but it's not unlikely that they will include digital shoes and clothing in various sports games.

Regardless of one's opinion on NFTs, EA has likely partnered with one of the best companies in the industry at the moment. Just last year, Nike earned $185 million from NFTs, making it the most successful traditional company in the NFT market.
