Greater Bay Technology is a new Chinese company claiming to have an electric car battery that is not affected by external temperatures. This means that it will perform equally well whether it's freezing cold or scorching hot outside. The battery, called Phoenix, can go from minus 20 to plus 20 degrees in just five minutes without any negative effects. This is possible because the battery cells are made of superconducting material with thermal management technology. This, in turn, means that the battery can be charged in just six minutes, regardless of the weather conditions. The size of the battery is not specified, but it is said to have a range of 100 miles.

The Phoenix battery is still under development, and next year, it will be tested in Chinese electric cars.
