Europol has made a major bust against operations on the Dark Web

Europol announced today that they have made a major crackdown on individuals who have bought and sold drugs on the so-called dark web.

During the operation, known as "SpecTor," they reportedly arrested 288 people and seized 850 kg of drugs such as amphetamines, cocaine, MDMA, LSD, and ecstasy. In addition to the drugs, Europol and their partners also seized over 100 weapons and the equivalent of 50 million euros in cash and cryptocurrencies.

During SpecTor, Europol collaborated with police authorities in Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Brazil, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Below is Europol's own coverage of the SpecTor operation.
