The Dutch company Fairphone is set to release a pair of over-ear headphones soon, reportedly called Fairbuds XL. Fairphone is most well-known for their mobile phones, which are manufactured with a focus on sustainability, upgradability, and repairability.

The images seen here are from the German tech site WinFuture, who obtained them through a leak from a retailer. Fairbuds XL are said to be a pair of wireless and noise-cancelling headphones made from recycled plastic. There is a USB-C port but no 3.5mm input, which makes sense as the company's latest phone, Fairphone 4, also lacks such an input.

There is currently no information on when Fairphone will release Fairbuds XL. The price is said to be €249. Fairphone has previously released the "True Wireless Stereo Earbuds," a pair of in-ear headphones that they began selling in 2021 for €100.
