First images from One Day and a Half

Now we get to see the first images from Fares Fares' new film "One Day and a Half" which will be coming to Netflix on September 1st. Fares both directs and plays the lead role. Other roles include Alexej Manvelov, Alma Pöysti, Stina Ekblad, Bengt C.W. Carlsson, Annica Liljeblad, Annika Hallin, and Johni Tadi.

The film is a Swedish drama-thriller inspired by real events and the synopsis reads as follows:

"Artan (Alexej Manvelov) takes his ex-wife Louise (Alma Pöysti) hostage in order to reunite with his daughter. Together with police officer Lukas (Fares Fares), they embark on a thrilling and emotionally charged road trip through the Swedish countryside during a hot summer - all while being pursued by the police."
