Former Audi CEO admits to dieselgate fraud
Maybe skips prison

In connection with the trial in Munich former Audi CEO Rupert Stadler now admits to approving cheat devices used on cars during emissions tests. The software tricked the system and showed false and better results than the car actually had in reality. Rupert's admission is due to the fact that he would otherwise have faced many years in prison. He should avoid this with this admission and perhaps only receive a suspended sentence. However, he still has to pay a fine of 1.1 million euros. The verdict will be announced in June.
