The American startup company Teevee Corporation is expected to soon launch a service in the USA where users can receive a free television set that will be financed through advertising displayed on the TV.

The service is expected to be called Telly and the TVs that are distributed will have an extra screen where various ads will be displayed. The secondary screen is said to be as high as a phone and have the same width as the TV. There will also be the possibility to run different widgets that can display weather, news headlines, sports results, and other information on the secondary screen.

Exactly when Telly will appear in the USA is still unclear. A website believed to be associated with the service states that it will be launched sometime this year.
