Game media weighs in on Redfall

Doesn't seem great

One of Microsoft's biggest game releases this year is Redfall from Arkane Studios. The game is an FPS set in an open world where you can play alone or with others. The game focuses heavily on the story, but there are also opportunities to complete missions outside of the main storyline. The developers themselves have described it as more like Far Cry than Left 4 Dead.

Various gaming media outlets have now managed to get their hands on the game and share their opinions in the clip above and below. Most seem to agree that the game world itself is quite dull and that the gameplay mechanics are relatively monotonous throughout the entire game.
