Hasselblad appears to be saying goodbye to DSLR cameras
Follow Nikon and Canon's lead?
Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad may be on the verge of discontinuing its DSLR cameras, according to reports from Engadget. While Hasselblad has not confirmed this themselves, retailer Capture Integration has stated on their blog that they have received notice that Hasselblad has stopped production of their DSLR series, the Hasselblad H.If these reports are true, Hasselblad would become the third major DSLR camera manufacturer to discontinue these models in favor of mirrorless cameras. Canon stopped producing DSLRs in 2021, and it was reported last year that Nikon would also be discontinuing them. This also means that Pentax and Ricoh will become the two major camera manufacturers still producing DSLRs, according to Engadget.
