Map of Earth's space bases released
Getting quite a lot now
As the interest in launching rockets into space has increased, so have the number of locations where this can be done here on Earth. BryceTech, an analysis company that creates maps for the space industry, has compiled a map of facilities where rockets are currently being launched, as well as facilities for future launches. In the report "Bryce Launch Sites 2023," BryceTech has identified around 80 current and planned facilities with the capacity to launch rockets into space and test ballistic missiles. You can find the entire map below, and a zoomed-in version of Europe on the second image below. In Europe, it seems that the United Kingdom is investing heavily in space bases, as they already have one in Cornwall and plan to build six more on the British Isles.Above is a picture of SpaceX's Starship spacecraft, along with the Super Heavy rocket, taken at the SpaceX facility in Starbase, Boca Chica, Texas. If you want to check out the Bryce Launch Site 2023 map in a larger format, you can find it at the link below.
