Mercedes F1 team to assist with electric car development

Mercedes is looking to accelerate its electric car development and it's now clear that they will be enlisting the help of their own F1 team to do so. The goal is to use the team's fast and efficient approach to develop new solutions and thus reduce the time it takes to develop new production cars. The EQXX concept car was actually developed with Mercedes Formula 1 team in England, and in record time - 18 months. It won't be as quick to produce production cars, but it's said that the development time for new vehicles could be reduced from 58 to 40 months instead.
