Microsoft unveils Flight Simulator 2024

Fly helicopters, quadcopters, hot air balloons and more

Microsoft and game studio Asobo have showcased some of what we can expect from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the successor to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. And there are certainly a lot of news that may be of interest to aviation enthusiasts.

Among other things, it will be possible to fly rescue missions, such as extinguishing fires, transporting injured people in ambulance planes, or performing mountain rescues. It also looks like it will be possible to fly hot air balloons, airships, single-person quadcopters, skydiving planes, as well as cargo helicopters from oil platforms, barges, and more.
