Electric version can go up to 400 kilometer

In 2020 a fully electric Mini Cooper was launched and soon it will be time for a new generation. The car will have a new and updated appearance and will be offered in two different versions. The entry-level model is called the Mini Cooper E and it offers 135 kW/184 horsepower, has a battery pack of 40.7 kWh and can travel 300 kilometers on a single charge. The other model is called the Cooper SE and it has a power output of 160 kW/218 horsepower, a battery pack of 54.2 kWh and a range of 400 kilometers. There are also rumors of a John Cooper Works version in the works. The new Mini will also be offered with a combustion engine but for now the electric version is in the spotlight. It is unclear when the premiere will be.

In the fall the electric Countryman will also be launched and next year the electric Aceman will follow. Bonus clip down below.
