Nintendo has announced that it will stop selling games via Nintendo eShop in Russia. Technically, Nintendo stopped selling games via Nintendo eShop last year when sanctions against the country made it impossible to pay for games in the Russian currency, rubles.

Nintendo further states that all payment information of Russian customers, such as credit card information and information from PayPal, will be deleted from Nintendo's servers.

However, Nintendo says that Russian customers who have already purchased games via Nintendo eShop will still be able to re-download them.
