No electric sports car from Lotus and Alpine
Collaboration ends
In 2021 Lotus and Alpine announced that they would develop an electric sports car together. It was meant to replace the A110 model and last year they unveiled an electric prototype of this car with parts that would be used in the new joint vehicle. However, we now learn that the car will not be produced and that the collaboration has ended. The decision is said to be mutual, but no explanation has been given for why it happened this way.
