Opel updates Corsa

Electric version can now go further

In 2019 Opel presented the new Corsa and the biggest news was that it came in an electric version. Now an updated version of the model is being launched and the electric version can go up to 400 kilometers on a single charge. For the first time Corsa will also be offered as a hybrid with a 48-volt system. The car's appearance has been refreshed and it now features the new "Opel Vizor" front and LED Matrix headlights are available if desired.

Opel Corsa Electric is offered in two versions - either with a 100 kW/136 horsepower motor and a range of 357 kilometers, or the new motor that provides 115 kW/156 horsepower and a range of 402 kilometers. Both motors have a torque of 260 Newton meters and the battery pack can be fast-charged up to 80 percent in 30 minutes.

The price tag is not yet known. Sales are set to begin in the fall and the car will be launched before the end of the year.
