An LCD screen and an E Ink screen

Philips has released a new monitor that may appeal to those who want to read documentation, instructions, or other materials on a secondary screen while working on a main screen. The monitor is called the Philips 24B1D5600 and consists of an LCD screen combined with a smaller E Ink screen.

The LCD screen in the Philips combo is 23.8 inches and has a resolution of 2560x1440 and the ability to display up to 16.7 million colors. The E Ink screen is 13.3 inches and has a resolution of 1200x1600 pixels. The e-paper screen can also be tilted 45 degrees towards the user. The screen(s) are compatible with both Windows and macOS.

In markets where the monitor has been released, it costs approximately $850.
