Samsung bans employees from using ChatGPT

Samsung is joining one of several organizations that prohibit their employees from using generative AI, such as OpenAI's ChatGPT. The new policy is being implemented due to concerns that employees may upload sensitive code that could then be stored on external servers, making it difficult for Samsung to locate and delete the content.The company reportedly conducted an internal survey on the use of AI services last month, with 65 percent of respondents expressing the opinion that these types of services pose a security risk.Samsung's new rules prohibit the use of generative AI on the company's computers, tablets, and phones, as well as on its internal network. However, it does not affect the company's devices sold to consumers.
