S.T.A.L.K.E.R. becomes a board game
Survive among mutants in Chernobyl
Game studio GSC Game World, in collaboration with Awaken Realms, has developed a board game version based on the games in GSC Game World's popular S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Board Game is designed for 1-4 players and is set in an alternative version of the zone surrounding the abandoned Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. Throughout the game, players will encounter mutants, radioactive rain, and other unpleasant things that exist in the zone around the power plant.The board game version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is currently being crowdfunded through a campaign on Gamefound. The campaign reached its goal of $50,000 in just three minutes and has currently raised over $1.7 million, indicating that the game is likely to be released.
