The American auction house RR Auction has auctioned off a check signed by Apple's founder Steve Jobs, which seems to have been a profitable deal for the seller. The check was made out to the consulting firm Crampton, Remke & Miller, Incorporated in 1976 when Apple still had its "headquarters" in Steve Jobs' garage in Palo Alto. Apple paid $175 for unknown consulting services to the company, which also had Xerox, Atari, and Memorex as clients, according to Gizmodo.RR Auctions estimated before the auction that the check would go for around $25,000. However, the final price landed at almost $107,000.
