When electricity prices skyrocketed, many people started considering having a backup at home. Solar panels on the roof and then a home battery that could store excess energy and be used when it was most convenient. Now, Tibber and Polarium are launching a new smart home battery called Homevolt. With this, you can store energy at home and thus lower your own electricity costs and be prepared for any dips.

The battery solution can be ordered from today and the first deliveries are expected to take place during the fourth quarter of the year. The price tag reads 89,995 SEK for the 6.6 kWh version, which includes installation by a qualified electrician. There is also a 13.3 kWh version available, which costs 129,995 SEK instead.
