Tom Scott tries a rolling wind tunnel

Last year, we wrote about the 2.7 kilometer long Catesby Tunnel in Northamptonshire, which was designed for steam trains but has been closed to them since 1966, reopening. Now, Tom Scott has taken a ride in the tunnel in the electric car Hyundai Ioniq 5. The only thing they really investigated in the video is the impact of putting GoPros on the outside of the car on energy consumption. The result was about 0.85 percent more air resistance, which would mean an increased cost of 0.08 euros per 100 km if fuel cost 1.6 euros per liter.
