Steam has started testing a feature that allows players to download and try games for free for 90 minutes before deciding whether to purchase them or not.

Initially, only Dead Space is available for free testing, but Gamespot reports that other games may be included in future tests. The free 90-minute trial for Dead Space will be available until May 29th.

Previously, Steam had a feature where players could purchase a game and get a refund if they returned it within two hours. The new feature of testing games for free for 90 minutes may make it easier for those who want to check out games without risking accidentally paying for them due to forgetfulness or other reasons.
