After a teaser a while back, the Volkswagen Golf R 333 is now official. This will be a special edition with only 333 units produced, and the number reflects the horsepower of the engine. The power in the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder has been increased from 320 to 333 horsepower. The torque is 420 Newton meters. These figures are the same as in the special edition Golf R 20 Years that was presented last year. In addition to more power, you get a fully loaded car both inside and out, and a unique yellow metallic paint. The exhaust system comes from Akrapovic. But it won't be cheap! They want 76,410 euros for this, which is close to 900,000 Swedish kronor. Production starts in September and you can order one from today. The first cars are expected to be delivered in October.
