Software issues are the cause

In early March rumors circulated that Volvo was having software issues with the EX90 and Polestar 3, which would cause delays for the new electric models. However, this was quickly denied and it was promised that deliveries of at least the Polestar 3 would start this year. This is not the case at all, and it is the software that is causing problems. In addition to the delayed cars, Polestar has also laid off 170 people.

Now it is said that production of the EX90 (and Polestar 3) will start in the first half of next year instead of the end of this year. It remains to be seen when the first cars will be delivered.
