Is there demand for one?

Volvo and station wagons are pretty much synonymous. But SUVs have taken over more and more, and maybe it's only here in Sweden that we love the station wagon format? Volvo's future is electric, with the large SUV EX90 on the way, as well as the small SUV EX30. But it's not certain that there will be an electric station wagon in the future. CEO Jim Rowan spoke with Auto Express and gave a cryptic answer to the question, saying they will look at the possibilities, but it doesn't seem like a definite model in Volvo's upcoming electric lineup. Would enough people want an electric station wagon, and would it be profitable for the company? And do people prefer a station wagon over an SUV? Maybe not.
