Zune makes a comeback in new Guardians of the Galaxy

Microsoft's failed MP3 player

Microsoft seems to be embracing the fact that their failed MP3 player, Zune, which attempted to compete with Apple's iPod when it was released in 2006, is featured in the latest Guardians of the Galaxy movie. In the above advertisement, we learn that Microsoft has revived the Zune.net website where people can get help with starting up their old Zune again. However, there is no chance that the MP3 player will actually start selling again, even though Microsoft has partnered with space industry manufacturer Redwire to create a 3D-printed prototype of the Zune player aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
