Davids blogg: New Identity/Branding for The Visual Reserve

For the last three years my photography has gone by the name The Visual Reserve: The Photography of David Bean. But in the next month I will be launching a brand new name, new web site and all new marketing materials. The name The Visual Reserve is left over from when I used to own and run a design firm of the same name.

Starting next month, my photography business will simply be known as David Bean Photography. It may not be as sexy of a name but I feel it represents me better and makes my actual name a brand rather than hiding behind a brand name. I created a new logo and am building a new web site (see attached.)

Anyway, in the future I'll be showing some recent work, shots of my studio here in Nashville, fun outtakes from shoots, etc.

For now, here's a photo from a shoot I did recently of someone who's sort of legend in the U.S. He's one of the biggest pro wrestlers of the WWE. His name is Hillbily Jim. Shooting famous people you never know what you're in for, but he was a very nice and accommodating guy. The whole shoot lasted about 2 hours and was taken for the WWE magazine.
