Den omåttligt populära musikgruppen U2 har länge undvikit att delta i något musikspel. Men detta håller, enligt USA Today, på att ändra då de efter succén med The Beatles: Rock Band funderar på att ta samma steg ut i musikspelsvärlden.

U2 may reconsider joining Rock Band. A year ago, the Irish quartet was in talks with the video game maker about lending their songs and likenesses to a version of the popular series. At that time, U2 bowed out, but the debut of The Beatles: Rock Band, with its faithful depictions of the Fab Four, may change the band?s minds.

?We definitely would like to be in there, but we felt some of the compromises weren?t what we wanted,? bassist Adam Clayton tells USA TODAY's Edna Gundersen. ?That could change. I love the idea that that?s where people are getting music, and we?d love to be in that world. We?ll figure something out. What The Beatles have done, where the animation is much more representative of them, is what we?re interested in, rather than the one-size-fits-all animation. We didn?t want to be caricatured.?
Nu är ju jag personligen inte riktigt allt för förtjust i U2 men troligen är det säkert en och annan som gläds över detta.
