Chipolo releases Airtags for Android
Finally more options!
AirTags are truly a brilliant invention and it's a shame that alternatives to Apple's small pucks are taking so long. But now Chipolo is releasing two products for Android users who want the same experience. The products are called ONE Point and CARD Point and work with Android's Find My Device feature, theoretically supporting millions of devices around the world. The idea is to pair them with your phone (they have Fast Pair) and then when you're looking for your wallet or keys, you can find them with the Find My Device app. According to Engadget, the puck has a speaker at 120 dB so you're sure to find it. The card can sound up to 105 dB. The battery in the puck should last for a year and is replaceable. The card's battery lasts for two years but cannot be replaced, so you have to send the device in for a new one at a cost. They can be pre-ordered now and One (the round puck) costs $28 and Card costs $35. For two pucks and a card, you'll pay $77.
