Hyundai is showcasing a rolling infotainment screen for cars

We have previously seen both computers and phones with rolling screens, and now Hyundai Mobis also wants to implement this invention in cars. The screen they are showcasing is up to 30 inches and the idea is that it will roll down into the instrument panel when not in use, which could be quite nice. The whole thing is based on OLED technology, which does not require a glass screen to function, and therefore the screen can be made of a flexible material such as plastic.When this technology could find its way into cars remains to be seen, but it shouldn't be too far away.
