I väntan på nya M3

Förra månaden rullade Alpina ut B3 Touring som närmast kan beskrivas som en M3 i kombiutförande. En sån kommer BMW inte att bygga så det fixar istället Alpina åt dem som är sugen. Nuvarande 3-serie kommer dock att få en M3 i sedan-utförande, och en bild på denna läckte ut igår. Men om man inte orkar vänta tills den lanseras ordnar Alpina det också i form av B3 Saloon som vi ser här.

Under huven lurar den raka sexan på 3,0 liter med dubbla turbo. Den har masserats ordentligt och ger nu 469 hästar och 700 newtonmeter i vrid. Det räcker för att kunna ta bilen från stillastående till 100 km/h på bara 3,8 sekunder. Toppfarten ligger på hela 303 km/h. Drivningen sker på alla fyra hjulen och kraften dit kommer via en åttastegad automatlåda.

Beställa går bra att göra under första kvartalet nästa år, leveranser drar igång i mitten av 2020. BMW:s nya M3 och M4 kommer också att lanseras någon gång nästa år.

The world premiere of the new BMW ALPINA B3 Saloon

The new BMW ALPINA B3 underscores its athletic, yet elegant appearance with impressive performance figures: With a top speed of 303 km/h (Saloon) respectively 300 km/h (Touring), the new BMW ALPINA B3 is one of the fastest of its kind. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.8 seconds (Touring 3.9 seconds).

The straight-six 3.0 litre engine with Bi-Turbo charging delivers a maximum output of 340 kW (462 hp) and 700 Nm of torque. Intelligent ALPINA specific all-wheel drive coupled with the latest 8-Speed Sport-Automatic Transmission ensures maximum traction and comfort at all times.

The new BMW ALPINA B3 (Saloon and Touring) is available to order from the 1st quarter of 2020 with deliveries commencing from mid 2020 at the earliest. The models are only available with all-wheel drive.
