This is the production version of McMurtry Spéirling
Really sucks
We have previously seen McMurtry Spéirling break record after record as the fan-equipped little beast is insanely fast. So far, it has only been the development version of the car, but now it is also being presented in a production version that you can buy. However, you can only drive it on a track, and you should also be a bit selfish as it only has room for one person. And finally, you should also be quite well off financially, as it costs from £820,000. Before taxes and delivery costs. Once you have gone through these points, you can enjoy an electric missile that has an even better fan system, which is both lighter and more efficient than before, wider tires both front and back, with a power output of 745 kW/1013 horsepower, and weighing in at one ton. The battery pack is 60 kWh and the top speed is expected to be 306 km/h. 0-100 km/h goes uncomfortably fast.Only 100 units will be produced, and the first ones will be delivered sometime in 2025. Bonus clip below.

Mercury Racing unveils new 500 horsepower outboard motor
Supercharged 4.6-liter V8 under the hood
The boating season is in full swing and those who manufacture gear for it are not sitting idle. Mercury Racing is now introducing a new outboard engine that they refer to as a flagship model. Underneath the plastic cover sits a supercharged 4.6-liter V8 engine that delivers a whopping 500 horsepower. This is a 50 horsepower increase compared to the previous top version, and the torque has increased by ten percent. To ensure that the new engine doesn't fall apart, they have had to rebuild the gearbox, which is available in 20, 25, 30, or 35 inches. Connecting rods, rod bearings, and pistons have also been reinforced to handle the higher RPM of 6600. A new flywheel, among other things, provides faster acceleration. The price for this beast is not currently disclosed. Read more about the engine on the link below.

Lamborghini doesn't need Audi for Huracán successor
Can develop own platform now
In 1998, Audi acquired Lamborghini. The Gallardo model was launched, which was a collaboration that Audi was involved in developing from scratch. Audi got the R8 model, and eventually, the Gallardo was replaced by the Huracán model. Now, Lamborghini is doing extremely well, so they won't need Audi's assistance when it comes to developing a successor to the Huracán. They simply have the opportunity to develop their own platform. This statement comes from Lamborghini's Franceso Scardaoni, who says:"Since we’ve been so profitable, we got the green light to develop our own platform- From one side, being part of the Volkswagen Group and having a platform to share is really good because you can share technology, and use technology that is validated from other brands – it’s really a good approach. But of course, being able to design our own platform gives us even more freedom to create the platform that best fits the Lamborghini DNA without any compromise. The company is setting records, quarter over quarter, year over year in terms of financials so… we are able to invest a huge amount of money in terms of research and development and to design our own platforms."The third generation of the Audi R8 is expected to be fully electric. The direction the successor to the Huracán will take is still somewhat uncertain, but now they can (almost) do as they please with their own platform. However, there are rumors that the V10 engine may be replaced by a twin-turbocharged V8 and some form of electrification.

Suzuki to start building a flying car next spring
At the Shizuoka factory
In March last year, we wrote that Suzuki, together with SkyDrive, would develop a flying "car". It is a so-called VTOL vehicle and it has no less than twelve propellers to help it take off and land vertically. It is fully electric and can accommodate three people inside. The top speed is expected to be 100 km/h, but the range is only 1.5 miles. Now we learn that production will start at Suzuki's factory in Shizuoka, Japan next spring. However, it will take until 2025 to obtain a certificate to fly with the vehicle. After that, a type certificate is required, which is expected to be obtained in 2026, and only then can mass production begin.
