777 Hypercar - the ultimate track-ready hypercar

Developed by Dallara

777 Hypercar is a new car from the Italian manufacturer 777 Motors. It is designed exclusively for track driving and is expected to complete a lap around Monza in 1:33 minutes. The car has been developed in collaboration with Dallara, who knows a thing or two about race cars, and under the hood, there is a mid-mounted 4.5-liter V8 engine developed by British company Gibson Technology. It produces 740 horsepower, has a redline at 9000 RPM, and runs on synthetic fuel. The weight of the car is expected to be 900 kilograms, and the top speed is stated to be 370 km/h. At such high speeds, the downforce is estimated to be 2.1 tons.

Only seven units will be produced, and each one will cost seven million euros. The first customers can expect to receive their cars sometime in 2025.

Guy embeds mechanical movement in Apple Watch

Unique construction

The biggest advantage of the Apple Watch is probably not that it's such a stylish gadget. That didn't stop NanoRobotGeek from incorporating a mechanical movement into an old Apple Watch that was on its way to dying.

Regardless of what one thinks about the design of the Apple Watch, this is a cool build!

Volkswagen Golf R as a crossover

Delta 4x4 has put together a set of renderings showcasing a Volkswagen Golf R on stilts. They envision raising the relatively low-performance version by 80 millimeters, adding a set of extra lights, a wide body kit, a roof rack, and beefier wheels, and then taking it off-road.

The kit and accessories could become a reality if enough people show interest in it. The items would cost around 35,000 euros in addition to the car itself, and it would take between 6-9 months to complete everything. Is this something you would consider?

Introducing the new Mercedes E-Class Estate

The plug-in hybrid goes 100 kilometers on electric power

Two months ago, Mercedes rolled out the new E-Class sedan. Now it's time for the estate version to make its entrance, and this is what it looks like. The wheelbase has increased by 22 millimeters, which should provide a bit more space in the back seat, but the sloping roofline means that the trunk capacity has decreased from 640 to 615 liters. If you fold down the back seat, it should fit 1830 liters, which is ten liters more than before.

If you buy the plug-in hybrid, you now won't have a bulge where the battery pack is located, and the one available in Europe at first is called the E300e. It comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 204 horsepower, paired with a 129-horsepower electric motor that is integrated into the nine-speed automatic transmission. The total power output is stated as 312 horsepower, and it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. The battery pack has a capacity of 25.4 kWh, and it can run on electric power alone for up to 100 kilometers. Of course, there will be more engine options available.

Sales will start in the fall. Unfortunately, we haven't received any pricing information yet.

AutoFlights eVTOL showcased

AutoFlight has previously shown that their eVTOL Prosperity I is not just a concept, and in February they set a new record by flying 25 miles at an average altitude of 170 meters. However, what they were flying with then was not the final design, even though it may have looked like it. We have also mentioned that automotive designer Frank Stephenson has joined the project, and now we get to see how the final product with his lines will look. And not surprisingly, he has incorporated some automotive design into the appearance.

The company expects that commercial flights with Prosperity I will be able to start sometime in 2026.
